Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Redondo Union Sea Hawks (Redondo Beach, CA) and the host Peninsula Panthers (Rolling Hills Estates, CA), saw Redondo Union's basketball squad wallop Peninsula by a count of 74-32.

With the victory, Redondo Union upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Sea Hawks host Mira Costa (Manhattan Beach, CA) to play the Mustangs in a Bay challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Mira Costa won 65-40 in their recent league challenge against Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Palos Verdes Sea Kings (Palos Verdes Estates, CA) in a Bay challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Peninsula will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Sea Kings come into the challenge with a 13-9 record after their 51-49 league loss to Culver City (Culver City, CA).
