Schuylkill Valley Panthers (Leesport, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Tulpehocken Trojans (Bernville, PA), 60-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Schuylkill Valley upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Antietam (Reading, PA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Antietam won 65-62 in their recent non-league bout against Wyomissing (Wyomissing, PA)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Hamburg Hawks (Hamburg, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 15. Tulpehocken will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 69-53 league loss to Brandywine Heights Area (Topton, PA).
