Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hamburg overwhelmed by Schuylkill Valley
January 9, 2024: Hamburg, PA 19526 The Schuylkill Valley Panthers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the host Hamburg Hawks to 37 in the Panthers league victory on Tuesday.
The Panthers now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lancaster Country Day for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 10. Schuylkill Valley will battle a team coming off a 69-58 league win over Annville-Cleona (Annville, PA). The record now stands at 1-4.
The Hawks (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Brandywine Heights Area (Topton, PA). The Bullets come into the Berks County 3 contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Brandywine Heights Area was routed by Big Spring (Newville, PA), 72-53, in a non-league contest.
