Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Athens Drive Jaguars (Raleigh, NC) and the visiting Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC), saw Athens Drive's basketball squad wallop Sanderson by a count of 61-36.

With the victory, Athens Drive upgrades its record to 5-9 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Enloe (Raleigh, NC) to play the Eagles in a 4A CAP 6 challenge on Friday, January 19. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 0-11.

Next up, the Spartans play the Broughton Capitals (Raleigh, NC) in a 4A CAP 6 challenge, on Friday, January 19. Sanderson will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record.
