Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ) and the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ), saw Higley's basketball squad wallop Mountain Pointe by a count of 74-47.

With the victory, Higley upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ) to play the Coyotes in a 5A San Tan challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Campo Verde won 65-31 in their recent league challenge against Casa Grande (Casa Grande, AZ)

Next up, the Pride play the Casteel Colts (Queen Creek, AZ) in a 5A San Tan challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Mountain Pointe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-15 season record. The Colts come into the challenge with a 12-7 record after their 41-19 league loss to Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ).
