North Carolina High School Basketball - Swansboro fells Richlands

January 12, 2024: Richlands, NC 28574

Swansboro Pirates (Swansboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Richlands Wildcats (Richlands, NC), 37-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Swansboro upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Pirates travel to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, January 15. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-4.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 19. Richlands will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 34-32 non-league win over Croatan (Newport, NC).
