The crowd at Sunday's league challenge between the Exeter-West Greenwich Scarlet Knights (West Greenwich, RI) and the host Block Island (New Shoreham, RI), observed Exeter-West Greenwich's basketball team overwhelm Block Island by a score of 42-21.

The Scarlet Knights (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cranston East (Cranston, RI). The Thunderbolts come into the non-league challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Cranston East was routed by Narragansett (Narragansett, RI), 41-8, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the battle the Providence Country Day Knights (East Providence, RI) in a Division III challenge, on Monday, January 13.
