In Friday's league outing, the Rangely Panthers (Rangely, CO) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Soroco Rams (Oak Creek, CO), by a margin of 67-43.

The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against West Grand (Kremmling, CO). The Mustangs go into the 2A/1A Western Slope outing with a 6-2 record. In their last outing, West Grand smashed De Beque (De Beque, CO), 56-45, in a league outing.

The Rams now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Vail Christian for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 14. Soroco will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 72-53 non-league win over Gilpin County (Black Hawk, CO). The Saints record now stands at 4-3.
