The Roncalli Cavaliers basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Groton Tigers to 35 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warner for a B Region 1 contest on Saturday, January 15. Roncalli will meet a Monarchs team coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Monarchs record now stands at 5-4.

The Tigers (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Deubrook (White, SD). The Dolphins enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Deubrook triumphed over Estelline/Hendricks (Estelline, SD), 57-36, in a non-league contest.
