California High School Basketball - Benicia fells Ygnacio Valley

Benicia Panthers (Benicia, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Ygnacio Valley Wolves (Concord, CA), 77-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Benicia upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cosumnes Oaks (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Wolfpack in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Wolfpack go into the bout with a record of 4-12. Cosumnes Oaks lost 80-67 in their recent league bout against Davis (Davis, CA)

Next up, the Wolves play the McClymonds Warriors (Oakland, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Ygnacio Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 12-4 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 74-39 league win over Castlemont (Oakland, CA).
