California High School Basketball - Ygnacio Valley holds off Alhambra

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Ygnacio Valley Wolves (Concord, CA) and the visiting Alhambra Bulldogs (Martinez, CA), saw Ygnacio Valley's basketball squad hold off Alhambra by a tally of 56-52.

With the victory, Ygnacio Valley improves its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Concord (Concord, CA) to confront the Minutemen in a Diablo - Valley challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 5-17. Concord lost 66-58 in their recent league challenge against Mt. Diablo (Concord, CA)

Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Berean Christian Eagles (Walnut Creek, CA) in a Diablo - Valley challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Alhambra will attempt to improve on its 12-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 11-11 record after their 78-38 league loss to Benicia (Benicia, CA).
