Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ygnacio Valley Wolves (Concord, CA) and the host De Anza Dons (El Sobrante, CA), saw Ygnacio Valley's basketball squad hold off De Anza by a tally of 75-72.

With the victory, Ygnacio Valley improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Head-Royce (Oakland, CA) to confront the Jayhawks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 10. The Jayhawks come into the challenge with a record of 6-1. Head-Royce won 45-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA)

Next up, the Dons confront the Monta Vista Matadors (Cupertino, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. De Anza will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Matadors come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 45-40 non-league loss to Head-Royce (Oakland, CA).
