January 13, 2023: Hereford, TX 79045 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Canyon Eagles (Canyon, TX) and the host Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX), saw Canyon's basketball squad overcome Hereford by a tally of 43-35.
With the victory, Canyon improves its record to 15-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Dumas (Dumas, TX) to confront the Demons in a 4A Region I District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Demons come into the challenge with a record of 18-7. Dumas won 80-53 in their recent league challenge against Pampa (Pampa, TX)
Next up, the Whitefaces confront the Perryton Rangers (Perryton, TX) in a 4A Region I District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Hereford will attempt to improve on its 16-4 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 68-38 league loss to Randall (Amarillo, TX).
