Texas High School Basketball - Hereford thwarts Caprock
December 6, 2022: Amarillo, TX 79103 The Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX) basketball knocked off the host Caprock Longhorns (Amarillo, TX), 69-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Whitefaces (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Vernon (Vernon, TX). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Vernon went down by Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX), 66-61, in a non-league test.
The Longhorns now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Midland Legacy for a non-league test on Thursday, December 8. Caprock will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 61-42 non-league loss to Cooper (Abilene, TX). The Rebels record now stands at 0-9.
