Texas High School Basketball - Hereford tops Abernathy
November 29, 2022: Hereford, TX 79045 Hereford Whitefaces (Hereford, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Abernathy Antelopes (Abernathy, TX), 56-42 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hereford upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Whitefaces travel to Goddard (Roswell, NM) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Rockets come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Goddard lost 72-33 in their recent non-league bout against Clovis (Clovis, NM)
Next up, the Antelopes play the New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Abernathy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Leopards come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 62-52 non-league loss to Brownfield (Brownfield, TX).
