Arizona High School Basketball - Valley Lutheran trounced by Cicero Prep Academy

In Friday's league match, the host Cicero Prep Academy Centurions basketball team scored a decisive 58-37 triumph over the Valley Lutheran Flames.

In their next game, the Centurions face the Phoenix Day School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Phoenix, AZ) in a 1A East match, on Tuesday, January 17. Cicero Prep Academy will attempt to move on its 10-7 season record. The Roadrunners enter the match with a 1-10 record after their 44-36 non-league win over Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind (Tucson, AZ).

With the defeat, Valley Lutheran moves to 7-11 on the year. The Flames host Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ) to face the Lightning in a 1A East match on Tuesday, January 17. The Lightning enter the match with a record of 8-11. Lincoln Prep lost 54-33 in their recent non-league match against Hayden (Winkelman, AZ)
