The La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA) varsity basketball team won Friday's home conference game against Conwell-Egan Catholic (Fairless Hills, PA) by a score of 57-31.
The La Salle College Explorers basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Conwell-Egan Catholic Eagles to 31 in the Explorers league triumph on Friday.
The Explorers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lansdale Catholic for a Philadelphia Catholic contest on Sunday, January 15. La Salle College will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 79-37 league loss to Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-9.
The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Roman Catholic (Philadelphia, PA). The Cahillite enter the Philadelphia Catholic contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Roman Catholic triumphed over Archbishop Ryan (Philadelphia, PA), 57-48, in a league contest.
