Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Archbishop Wood tops La Salle College
February 3, 2023: Warminster, PA 18974 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Archbishop Wood Vikings (Warminster, PA) and the visiting La Salle College Explorers (Wyndmoor, PA), saw Archbishop Wood's basketball squad knock off La Salle College by a count of 72-62.
With the victory, Archbishop Wood upgrades its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Parkland (Allentown, PA) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Sunday, February 5. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 12-8. Parkland lost 47-45 in their recent league challenge against Emmaus (Emmaus, PA)
Next up, the Explorers play the Roman Catholic Cahillite (Philadelphia, PA) in a Philadelphia Catholic challenge, on Sunday, February 5. La Salle College will attempt to upgrade on its 9-10 season record. The Cahillite come into the challenge with a 17-2 record after their 62-60 league loss to Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA).
