The Archbishop Wood Vikings basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the visiting Father Judge Crusaders to 57 in the Vikings league victory on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Archbishop Ryan for a Philadelphia Catholic contest on Monday, January 23. Archbishop Wood will battle a Raiders and Ragdolls team coming off a 70-58 league win over Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic (Drexel Hill, PA). The Raiders and Ragdolls record now stands at 8-7.
The Crusaders (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Neumann-Goretti (Philadelphia, PA). The Saints come into the Philadelphia Catholic bout with a 12-2 record. In their last bout, Neumann-Goretti overwhelmed La Salle College (Wyndmoor, PA), 64-33, in a league bout.
