The MMI Preparatory School basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Hanover Area Hawkeyes to 50 in the league triumph on Friday.

The now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lake-Lehman for a Wyoming Valley 2 contest on Tuesday, January 17. MMI Preparatory School will battle a Knights team coming off a 45-43 league win over Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA). The Knights record now stands at 1-11.

The Hawkeyes (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA). The Warriors enter the Wyoming Valley 2 contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Wyoming Area was nudged by Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA), 61-55, in a non-league contest.
