Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Hanover Area holds off MMI Preparatory School
February 3, 2023: Freeland, PA 18224 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Hanover Area Hawkeyes (Hanover Township, PA) and the host MMI Preparatory School (Freeland, PA), saw Hanover Area's basketball squad hold off MMI Preparatory School by a tally of 50-48.
With the victory, Hanover Area improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Hawkeyes host Wyoming Area (Exeter, PA) to confront the Warriors in a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-11. Wyoming Area lost 45-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Greater Nanticoke Area (Nanticoke, PA)
Next up, the confront the Lake-Lehman Knights (Lehman, PA) in a Wyoming Valley 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. MMI Preparatory School will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 2-16 record after their 57-52 league win over Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA).
