The Southwest Patriots basketball team scored 79 points and restricted the host Kendrick Cherokees to 68 in the Patriots league victory on Friday.

The Patriots now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westside for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14. Southwest will battle a Seminoles team coming off a 68-52 non-league win over Central (Macon, GA). The Seminoles record now stands at 10-6.

The Cherokees (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Early County (Blakely, GA). The Bobcats come into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record.
