The Southwest Patriots basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting Academy for Classical Education Gryphons to 52 in the Patriots league triumph on Tuesday.

The Patriots now sport a 10-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a AA Region 2 contest on Friday, February 10. Southwest will battle a Chargers team coming off a 89-45 league loss to Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Chargers record now stands at 9-14.

The Gryphons (3-20) will now prepare for their contest against Spencer (Columbus, GA). The Greenwave enter the AA Region 2 contest with a 20-4 record. In their last contest, Spencer triumphed over Central (Macon, GA), 89-45, in a league contest.
