Iowa High School Basketball - Treynor overwhelms Missouri Valley
January 13, 2023: Treynor, IA 51575 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Treynor Cardinals (Treynor, IA) and the visiting Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA), saw Treynor's basketball squad wallop Missouri Valley by a tally of 64-35.
With the victory, Treynor improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Audubon (Audubon, IA) to confront the Wheelers in a Western Iowa challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Wheelers come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Audubon lost 65-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Exira-EHK (Elk Horn, IA)
Next up, the Big Reds confront the Whiting Warriors (Whiting, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Missouri Valley will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 52-19 non-league loss to College View Academy (Lincoln, NE).
