AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA), 78-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, AHSTW upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Vikings travel to Logan-Magnolia (Logan, IA) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Logan-Magnolia lost 68-29 in their recent league bout against Underwood (Underwood, IA)

Next up, the Big Reds play the Griswold Tigers (Griswold, IA) in a Western Iowa bout, on Thursday, December 15. Missouri Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 72-25 non-league loss to Southwest Valley (Corning, IA).
