New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Augustine Prep overwhelms St. Joseph
January 13, 2023: Richland, NJ 08350 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the St. Augustine Prep Hermits (Richland, NJ) and the visiting St. Joseph Wildcats (Hammonton, NJ), saw St. Augustine Prep's basketball squad wallop St. Joseph by a count of 70-32.
With the victory, St. Augustine Prep upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Hermits travel to Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ) to play the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 4-7. Holy Spirit lost 70-36 in their recent league challenge against Egg Harbor Township (Egg Harbor Township, NJ)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Hightstown Rams (Hightstown, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. St. Joseph will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 59-56 league win over West Windsor-Plainsboro North (Plainsboro, NJ).
