New Jersey High School Basketball - Holy Spirit knocked off by St. Joseph
December 20, 2022: Hammonton, NJ 08037 The St. Joseph Wildcats basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Holy Spirit Spartans to 57 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamstown for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 22. St. Joseph will meet a Braves team coming off a 58-49 league win over Kingsway (Woolwich Township, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 2-1.
The Spartans (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ). The Pirates enter the Cape/Atlantic - National contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Cedar Creek was outscored by Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NJ), 59-54, in a non-league contest.
