Louisiana High School Basketball - Acadiana holds off Barbe
January 13, 2023: Lafayette, LA 70506 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) and the visiting Barbe Buccaneers (Lake Charles, LA), saw Acadiana's basketball squad hold off Barbe by a tally of 41-35.
With the victory, Acadiana improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Rams host LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA) to confront the Gators in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 7-5.
Next up, the Buccaneers confront the Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, January 15. Barbe will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 46-33 non-league win over Acadiana (Lafayette, LA).
