Florida High School Basketball - Mitchell can't hold off Cypress Creek

The Cypress Creek Coyotes basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Mitchell Mustangs to 59 in the Coyotes non-league triumph on Friday.

The Coyotes now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Anclote for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Cypress Creek will battle a Sharks team coming off a 68-55 non-league loss to Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 8-8.

The Mustangs (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Palm Harbor University (Palm Harbor, FL). The Hurricanes enter the non-league contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Palm Harbor University was nudged by Bayshore (Bradenton, FL), 81-59, in a non-league contest.
