Florida High School Basketball - Anclote holds off Mitchell

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL) and the host Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL), saw Anclote's basketball squad hold off Mitchell by a tally of 46-40.

With the victory, Anclote improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Sharks host Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 15. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Zephyrhills lost 55-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Sports Leadership & Management Spartans (Tampa, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 16. Mitchell will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 55-5 non-league win over Cristo Rey Tampa (Tampa, FL).
