River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Anclote Sharks (Holiday, FL), 59-26 in a non-league bout.

With the win, River Ridge upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Royal Knights host Fivay (Hudson, FL) to clash with the Falcons in a 5A District 6 bout on Friday, November 18. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-2. Fivay lost 39-22 in their recent league bout against Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL)

Next up, the Sharks clash with the Wiregrass Ranch Bulls (Wesley Chapel, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, November 18. Anclote will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Bulls go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 55-35 league loss to Land O' Lakes (Land O' Lakes, FL).
