The Currituck County Knights basketball team (Barco, NC), was overwhelmed 69-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC)

The Eagles now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to First Flight for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Northeastern will confront a Nighthawks team coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC). The Nighthawks record now stands at 5-6.
