In Saturday's non-league outing, the Bolivar Central Tigers (Bolivar, TN) basketball squad beat the visiting Covington Chargers (Covington, TN), by a count of 54-40.

The Tigers (17-3) will now prepare for their outing against Haywood (Brownsville, TN). The Tomcats go into the 3A District 14 outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Haywood defeated Ripley (Ripley, TN), 47-45, in a non-league outing.
