Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Ridge Point Panthers (Missouri City, TX) and the visiting Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX), saw Ridge Point's basketball squad hold off Fort Bend Hightower by a tally of 50-49.

With the victory, Ridge Point improves its record to 18-7 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX) to play the Vikings in a 6A Region III District 20 challenge on Wednesday, January 17. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 14-12. Fort Bend Dulles lost 64-62 in their recent league challenge against Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX)
