January 13, 2024: Hartford, KY 42347 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ohio County Eagles (Hartford, KY) and the visiting Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY), saw Ohio County's basketball squad wallop Meade County by a tally of 62-40.
With the victory, Ohio County improves its record to 8-9 on the campaign. The Eagles host Owensboro Catholic (Owensboro, KY) to confront the Aces in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Aces come into the challenge with a record of 11-3. Owensboro Catholic won 69-53 in their recent non-league challenge against Station Camp (Gallatin, TN)
Next up, the Green Waves confront the Green County Dragons (Greensburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Meade County will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 59-55 league loss to Caverna (Horse Cave, KY).
