New Jersey High School Basketball - University ripped by Newark Tech
January 13, 2024: Newark, NJ 07103 The Newark Tech Terries basketball team scored 91 points and held the visiting University Phoenix to 58 in the Terries non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Terries now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Caldwell Tech for a non-league contest on Monday, January 15. Newark Tech will battle a Eagles team coming off a 59-53 league loss to Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
The Phoenix (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Bard (New York, NY). The enter the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Bard triumphed over University Neighborhood (New York, NY), 35-30, in a league contest.
