Ohio High School Basketball - Unioto overwhelms Piketon

January 13, 2024: Chillicothe, OH 45601

Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Unioto Shermans (Chillicothe, OH) and the visiting Piketon Redstreaks (Piketon, OH), saw Unioto's basketball squad wallop Piketon by a count of 74-39.

With the victory, Unioto upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Shermans host Circleville (Circleville, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 18. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Redstreaks play the Hillsboro Indians (Hillsboro, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 17. Piketon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 58-57 league loss to Jackson (Jackson, OH).
