January 13, 2025: Port Wing, WI 54865 Drummond Lumberjacks (Drummond, WI) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host South Shore Cardinals (Port Wing, WI), 53-44 in a league match.
With the victory, Drummond advances its record to 6-5 on the year. The Lumberjacks travel to Washburn (Washburn, WI) to meet the Castle Guards in a Northern Lights match on Thursday, January 16. The Castle Guards enter the match with a record of 6-5. Washburn won 76-16 in their recent league match against Butternut (Butternut, WI)
The Cardinals now own a 3-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hurley for a Northern Lights match on Thursday, January 16. South Shore will meet a Northstars squad coming off a 47-43 league win over Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI). The Northstars record now stands at 10-2.
