Wisconsin High School Basketball - Hurley triumphant over South Shore
January 16, 2025: Port Wing, WI 54865 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Hurley Northstars (Hurley, WI) and the host South Shore Cardinals (Port Wing, WI), observed Hurley's basketball team overwhelm South Shore by a margin of 70-34.
The Northstars (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Washburn (Washburn, WI). The Castle Guards come into the Northern Lights challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Washburn was trounced by Drummond (Drummond, WI), 60-58, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the Lac Courte Oreilles Eagles (Hayward, WI) in a Northern Lights challenge, on Monday, January 20. South Shore will attempt to better on its 3-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 56-23 league loss to Solon Springs (Solon Springs, WI).
