Illinois High School Basketball - Monmouth-Roseville bested by Alleman
January 13, 2025: Monmouth, IL 61462 Alleman Pioneers (Rock Island, IL) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL), 52-43 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Alleman advances its record to 15-6 on the year. The Pioneers travel to East Moline United (East Moline, IL) to face the Panthers in a Western Big 6 match on Thursday, January 16. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 0-19. East Moline United lost 72-26 in their recent league match against Sterling (Sterling, IL)
The Titans now own a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Macomb for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 15. Monmouth-Roseville will face a Bombers squad coming off a 56-29 non-league win over Cuba/Spoon River Valley (Cuba, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 14-6.
