The River Ridge Royal Knights basketball team scored 78 points and held the visiting Avon Park Red Devils to 28 in the Royal Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Royal Knights now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Weeki Wachee for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. River Ridge will battle a Hornets team coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to Springstead (Spring Hill, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 8-8.

The Red Devils (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against McLaughlin (Lake Wales, FL). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record.
