Minnesota High School Basketball - Mankato East trounces Marshall
January 14, 2023: Mankato, MN 56001 The Mankato East Cougars (Mankato, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN), 87-63 in Saturday's league test.
The Cougars (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Faribault (Faribault, MN). The Falcons go into the non-league test with a 1-10 record. In their last test, Faribault was trounced by Century (Rochester, MN), 70-39, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Brandon Valley for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Marshall will encounter a Lynx squad coming off a 56-38 league win over Douglas (Box Elder, SD). The Lynx record now stands at 5-2.
