Minnesota High School Basketball - Mankato West nips Marshall
January 28, 2023: Marshall, MN 56258 Mankato West Scarlets (Mankato, MN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN), 56-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Mankato West upgrades its record to 8-6 on the season. The Scarlets travel to Austin (Austin, MN) to play the Packers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Packers go into the bout with a record of 9-5. Austin lost 88-78 in their recent league bout against Mankato East (Mankato, MN)
Next up, the Tigers play the Fairmont Cardinals (Fairmont, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 6-12 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 59-44 non-league loss to Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN).
