Minnesota High School Basketball - Maranatha Christian Academy knocked off by Western Christian
January 14, 2023: Brooklyn Park, MN 55428 The Western Christian Wolfpack basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Maranatha Christian Academy Mustangs to 55 in the Wolfpack non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wolfpack now sport a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Unity Christian for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Western Christian will battle a Knights team coming off a 59-37 league win over Hinton (Hinton, IA). The Knights record now stands at 6-5.
The Mustangs (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against St. Croix Prep (Stillwater, MN). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, St. Croix Prep ran past Cristo Rey Jesuit (Minneapolis, MN), 63-61, in a non-league contest.
