Illinois High School Basketball - Triopia overwhelms North Greene
January 14, 2023: White Hall, IL 62092 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Triopia Trojans (Concord, IL) and the host North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL), saw Triopia's basketball squad wallop North Greene by a tally of 45-15.
With the victory, Triopia improves its record to 4-15 on the campaign. The Trojans host PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL) to confront the Bluejays in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 16. The Bluejays come into the challenge with a record of 19-0. PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central won 56-17 in their recent league challenge against Riverton (Riverton, IL)
Next up, the Spartans confront the Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley challenge, on Monday, January 16. North Greene will attempt to improve on its 0-18 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 59-25 non-league win over Seymour (Payson, IL).
