The Sammamish RedHawks were victorious over the visiting Bothell Cougars basketball squad by a final score of 72-59 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the RedHawks clash with the Mercer Island Islanders (Mercer Island, WA) in a 3A KingCo outing, on Friday, January 17. Sammamish will attempt to upgrade on its 9-7 season record. The Islanders enter the outing with a 8-7 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to North Creek (Bothell, WA).

The Cougars (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA). The Kangaroos enter the 4A KingCo outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Lake Washington ran past Eastlake (Sammamish, WA), 87-47, in a league outing.
