The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Springport Spartans (Springport, MI) and the visiting Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI), observed Springport's basketball team edge Concord by a score of 55-49.

The Spartans (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Quincy (Quincy, MI). The Orioles come into the Big 8 challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, Quincy was tipped by Union City (Union City, MI), 56-42, in a league game.
