January 14, 2025: Cordova, TN 38016 Houston Mustangs (Germantown, TN) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Cordova Wolves (Cordova, TN), 73-60 in a league match.
With the victory, Houston upgrades its record to 14-5 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Collierville (Collierville, TN) to face the Dragons in a 4A District 15 match on Friday, January 17. The Dragons enter the match with a record of 8-11. Collierville lost 78-36 in their recent league match against Bartlett (Bartlett, TN)
The Wolves now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southwind for a 4A District 15 match on Friday, January 17. Cordova will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 47-44 league win over Arlington (Arlington, TN). The Jaguars record now stands at 11-4.
