In Tuesday's league test, the Crandall Pirates (Crandall, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Corsicana Tigers (Corsicana, TX), by a score of 79-57.

Next, the Pirates clash with the Ennis Lions (Ennis, TX) in a 5A Region II District 15 test, on Friday, January 17. Crandall will attempt to improve on its 8-15 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 11-15 record after their 52-33 league win over Kaufman (Kaufman, TX).

The Tigers (6-17) will now prepare for their test against Terrell (Terrell, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 9-16 record. In their last test, Terrell was routed by Red Oak (Red Oak, TX), 84-32, in a league test.
