South Dakota High School Basketball - Dakota Valley toppled by West Central
January 14, 2025: Hartford, SD 57033 West Central Trojans (Hartford, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Dakota Valley Panthers (North Sioux City, SD), 69-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Central upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Trojans travel to Castlewood (Castlewood, SD) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 18. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 8-1. Castlewood won 62-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD)
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Cedar Catholic Trojans (Hartington, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Dakota Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-1 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 60-50 non-league loss to Wynot (Wynot, NE).
